Al-Qalam student Support trust was established in 2021. The trust is registered in Australia (with ACNC/DGR status approved) and we are in process of its registration in Pakistan.
The main purpose of the trust is to contribute to improving the rate of literacy in Pakistan at the school level. The trust bears the educational expense of poor students from disadvantaged families. Currently, trust is sponsoring full educational expenses of around 160 students (mostly girls) in five cities (i.e. Karachi, Multan, Sukkur, Layyah, and Khanewal) of Pakistan.
Trust is also involved in projects related to providing clean water for drinking to people living in the remote areas of South Punjab. Al-Qalam has so far completed five water-related projects in South Punjab and Sindh.
Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow and dream. Many children in Pakistan can't continue their education because of financial hardship — forced to leave school early with their dreams unrealized. Your support helps provide school fees, books, uniforms and encouragement so students can stay in school and create a brighter tomorrow.
In many areas of Pakistan, underground water is too salty to drink. Al-Qalam installs Reverse Osmosis water plants powered by solar energy, bringing clean and safe drinking water to entire communities. Your support makes this possible — one plant, hundreds of lives changed forever.
